Reed Lessing will preach at Mt. Olive, Weston, WI to kick-off their capital stewardship campaign, October 23, 2011.

… will preach for the morning and afternoon Reformation services at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lincoln, NE, October 30, 2011.

… will teach the Book of Isaiah for the 2011 Kansas District Live Video Conference shown in multiple churches throughout the Kansas District, November 5, 2011.

… will preach at Zion, St. Louis, November 13, 2011 for their annual Harvest Home Festival.

… will deliver two papers at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature in San Francisco, CA – (1) Preaching From Amos: Upsetting the Status Quo, and (2) Yahweh versus Marduk: Creation Theology in Isaiah 40-55, November 18–22, 2011.

A number of additional faculty members will be attending the AAR/SBL annual meetings in San Francisco, November 18–22. This is the first joint meeting of the the two academic societies of religion in a number of years.

Sam Nafzger (adjunct) will be attending a meeting of the International Lutheran Society of Wittenberg (ILSW) in Wittenberg, Germany on October 20-21, 2011. Sam serves as the Chairman of the ILSW Supervisory Board.

Rick Marrs will be attending the World Conference of the American Association for Christian Counseling in Nashville, TN, September 28–October 1 (with 7,000 other counseling types).
