Word and Work: Ministry After Ferguson

In the first half of this episode of Word and Work: An Intersection, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis President Dr. Dale A. Meyer visits with Rev. Micah Glenn, executive director of the Lutheran Hope Center in Ferguson, Mo., and how he is serving the needs of the community in the aftermath of the police shooting of Michael Brown.

In the second half of the program, Professors Dr. Andrew Bartelt and Dr. James W. Voelz, and Emeritus Professor Dr. Paul Raabe discuss the book, The Press of the Text: Biblical Studies in Honor of James W. Voelz (Wipf and Stock). The book was edited by Bartelt, Raabe and former Provost Jeff Kloha with an international range of writers, including colleagues, students, and friends of Voelz, to honor his legendary and ongoing career in teaching and scholarship.
