ICYMI: Burreson and Schuler on Catechesis

Concordia Seminary Prof. Kent Burreson and Concordia University, St. Paul, Prof. Rhoda Schuler jointly gave the 2019 Hoffmann Lecture at Concordia University, St. Paul, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, entitled “Remembering the Future: Exploring an Ancient Model of Making Disciples for the 21st Century.”

They presented their research on successful church catechumenate programs across the United States. The scholars shared how such programs are inspired by ancient models, and today are resulting in increases of active church involvement among younger generations. The video includes both their lecture and some Q&A from the audience.
