Prof Insights: Kent Burreson and Rhoda Schuler

Drs. Kent Burreson and Rhoda Schuler give an overview of their upcoming online workshop, “Treasures Old and New: A Workshop on Adult Faith Formation.” The workshop, part of Concordia Seminary’s Prof Insights: Faculty-Led Workshop Series, will be held Aug. 3-5. Registration is $140. The registration deadline is July 16. “We live in post-Christian times,” Burreson says. “Making disciples within the Christian church is a challenge. … Our workshop will lead you into [a] holistic and Christ-centered focus with regard to how adult faith formation functions in congregations.” Burreson is the Louis A. Fincke and Anna B. Shine Professor of Systematic Theology at Concordia Seminary. Schuler is professor emerita at Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn.
