Luther, and Lutherans, among the Calvinists

From time to time, it’s good to see how Concordia Seminary grads are engaged in theological conversations with other Christians through their graduate work, along with their observations of such encounters as they enter the world of writing and scholarship. In that regard, Pastor Christopher Jackson (Class of 2006), who is engaged in doctoral work at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has  published a little piece in First Things. We thought that he provides help a helpful (and nuanced) reflection on the influence of Calvin and Luther among some Southern Baptists. —Charles Arand
