Regarding the Article by Dr. John Jurchen in Concordia Journal

We have received the following letters from the Rev. Richard Snow, President of the Nebraska District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and Dr. John Jurchen, Associate Professor at Concordia University, Nebraska, in which Dr. Jurchen has requested that we withdraw his article that was published in the Summer 2017 issue of the Concordia Journal. We accept Dr. Jurchen’s decision and, accordingly, will refrain from further commentary on his article.

We will continue to report on the debates currently taking place among the Evangelicals in order to equip ourselves for addressing them when those issues arise within our congregations.
