Word and Work: Books and More Books

In this episode of Word and Work: An Intersection, we get an inside look at Concordia Publishing House (CPH). Dr. Dale A. Meyer interviews Rev. Paul McCain, publisher at CPH, getting the inside scoop on CPH’s history, publishing plan, and all the different processes involved in their work. McCain talks about several works that he brought with him into the studio and shares how they have impacted him personally. During the episode, McCain also discusses the impact of technology on the publishing world and how the scene is changing, and shared that “publishing is about content—and not necessarily how that content is delivered.”

You can download the episode in video (mp4) or audio (mp3) format at the Word and Work Scholar page.
