Financial Wellness 101

In Word and Work: An Intersection, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, President Emeritus Dr. Dale A. Meyer chats with Keith Duesenberg, a financial educator with Concordia Plans. Duesenberg “serves those in His service” by working with students, faculty and staff at Concordia Seminary and Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. Concordia Plans is the benefit provider for the LCMS and its workers. “What has really been humbling is being able to serve those that are working inside of our LCMS church,” Duesenberg says. “I want to help them understand more fully [their] benefits.”

Additionally, in the audio version of the program, hear a chapel sermon from Dr. Roosevelt Gray, director of LCMS Black Ministry. You can download the episode in video (mp4) or audio (mp3) format at the Word and Work Scholar page: https://scholar.csl.edu/wordandwork/85/.

Word and Work: An Intersection is a video and audio program providing a behind-the-scenes look at ministry where everyday life and God’s Word meet. It is broadcast on KFUO Radio every Thursday at 2:00 pm CT.
