Two Advent Hymns

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis’ Director of Music Arts Dr. James F. Marriott plays organ overtures to “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” (LSB 357, above) and “Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates” (LSB 340/341, below). These two great advent hymns frame Christ’s coming as a child in Bethlehem, our deliverer, our Savior, who will indeed come again in glory.
