Each week Jessica Bordeleau hosts Dr. Peter Nafzger and Dr. David Schmitt in a discussion about the lectionary texts for upcoming Sundays. The texts for June 1, the Seventh Sunday of Easter are Acts 1:12–26, Psalm 133, Revelation 22:1–6 (7–11) 12–20, and John 17:20–26.
The psalm in this week’s texts describe oil flowing over Aaron’s head onto his beard. This reference prompted Jessica to ask David and Peter if either of them had ever had a beard. To back up their claims Jessica obtained the following pictures. Enjoy!
