The parables of Jesus are beloved and for good reason. They memorably capture both how God is at work for our salvation in Christ and how we ought to live as a result. Yet the parables can also be a challenge to understand. Dr. James Fickenscher offers insight regarding the parables in a recent Lay Bible Institute entitled “And He Spoke Many Things to Them in Parables.”
