ICYMI: Joel Elowsky on urban life and the church fathers

Concordia Seminary Professor Joel Elowsky recently published the lead article in the latest Christian History magazine. The article was entitled “Life in the Earthly City,” and reflects on how urban life affected the thinking, practice, and mission of the church fathers during the earliest centuries of Christianity. The parallels to life in our own digital century are profound.

You can read the full issue as a PDF at Christian History‘s main magazine page.
