Join us for the 2023 Multiethnic Symposium

Registration is open for the 2023 Multiethnic Symposium, “Hope for the Church, Hope for the Future: 1.5 and 2.0 Generation Immigrants,” slated for May 2-3 on the campus of Concordia Seminary. The symposium will explore the changing landscape of immigration in the United States – and the unique opportunity Christians have to share the Gospel with people from all nations. Plenaries and sectionals will look at two specific immigrant generations — the 1.5 generation (those who immigrated before or during their teenage years to the United States) and the 2.0 generation (children of immigrants who were born in their host country). Participants will learn about the unique challenges of these generations and will explore how congregations can better embrace their contributions to the life of the church today — and for future generations to come.
