Friends and benefactors have a unique opportunity
Friends and benefactors have a unique opportunity to support the formation of future pastors, deaconesses and other church leaders during Concordia Seminary, St. Louis’ annual Give Green and Gold Day campaign slated for Sept. 2-24.

The 2025 Give Green and Gold Day campaign, themed “Let it Shine,” reflects the Seminary’s commitment to prepare the church’s future leaders who will shine the light of Christ through their ministry in congregations and communities around the world.

To amplify the impact of each gift, every unrestricted gift given from Sept. 2-24 will be matched dollar for dollar up to the first $54,000 raised toward an overall goal of $108,000.

“Every gift, from the smallest to the greatest, makes a difference as we strive to ensure that our congregations and ministries across the country and around the world have the shepherds to lead them in their faithful work,” said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. “We are deeply thankful for our generous donors whose matched contributions will go twice as far in support of the Seminary’s mission. What a blessing it is to partner together in this important work.”

Seminary friends also are invited to encourage others in their support for the Seminary’s Give Green and Gold Day by spreading the word on social media using the hashtag #GiveGreenandGold, by sharing the giving page or by calling 800-822-5287.

Give Green and Gold Day is one of three special giving days at Concordia Seminary.
